While you are visiting the Mill, why not call in at the Stables
Some of the former outbuildings of the Mill have been converted
into a tea room, open from 10 am until 4 pm each Open Day. Tea
and coffee are available, with a selection of delicious cakes,
scones and snacks on sale. But come early before they have all
In addition, a range of cooled drinks and ice-creams may be purchased
from the Exhibition and Sales Room, these being transferred from
the Tea Room to reduce queuing times.
Seating is either on the picnic tables outside, including some
'easy-access' ones, or inside in case of poor weather.
Some visitors, having explored the Mill and the grounds on previous
occasions, have discovered that a visit to the Tea Room for tea
or coffee and cakes on an Open Day is an enjoyable way to spend
a Sunday afternoon, especially as it includes free parking and
admission to the Mill site!
